Bid on art and art experiences such as group master classes instructed by some of the Contemporary Arts Network (CAN) Foundation’s First Patron artists. Experiences include studio sessions, guitar lessons, live music, DJs for future private events, and more.
The auction will also include original artwork by Hampton Boyer, Mahari Chabwera, Nastassja Swift, Adewale Alli, Asa Jackson, Randy Hess, Andy Harris, Wade Mickley, Karen Freidt, Dathan Kane, John Runner, Sam Hundley, Alex Micheal, and Carl Medley. The virtual auction is already underway, and continues until 9 a.m. on Jan. 9.

Proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the CAN Foundation, Impact 100 Greater Peninsula, and Hampton Roads artists.
The CAN Foundation is the Contemporary Arts Network’s sister organization, engaging communities through artist development, arts education, and public art projects. The foundation collaborates with artists, educators, community groups, and local governments to create a vibrant arts culture. The goal is to raise public awareness of the arts as a unifying force within Hampton Roads and beyond.
Impact 100 Greater Peninsula is a collaborative effort that champions the power of women working and giving together to improve the Hampton Roads community. To date, Impact 100 has granted $422,736 to nonprofits in the Greater Peninsula.
Programs such as CAN’s artist residency, The First Patron Initiative, are made possible through the support of patrons and community contributions. Additionally, the CAN Foundation supports programming to advance and strengthen the cultural tapestry of Hampton Roads and beyond.
