Kylie Sandberg has always participated in Relay for Life, which raises money for the American Cancer Society, because both her grandfathers passed away from the disease and her father is a cancer survivor.
The Grafton High School junior normally participates at her school. However, the team has been unable to raise funds due to school’s closure because of COVID-19.

In an effort to stay busy and raise money for the American Cancer Society, Sandberg decided to bake custom sugar cookies and sell them.
She bakes them in batches of three dozen which takes her about two hours.
Most of her orders are for 2020 graduates. The cookies are decorated with their school colors in cream cheese frosting, she said.
Many times, they are a surprise for the person. Her largest order so far has been six dozen.
“It started out I was just doing them for friends but they started sharing it on social media and it blew up,” she said.
So far Sandberg has raised $1,145 for Relay for Life.
She sells them in half dozen for $5 and $10 for a dozen.
Sandberg will be selling them until July 1. To order she can be reached by email at HelloKylieb@gmailcom or Instagram @HelloKylieBS
