VFW Buddy Poppy Fundraiser at Pop’s

Owner Sue Allen has for 20 years allowed members of the VFW post to solicit donations from customers and distribute Buddy Poppies every Memorial Day and Veterans Day as a reminder of those who gave their lives for the service of the country.

The VFW is a non-profit organization and relies on donations to support their programs. The money raised at Pop’s Drive-In goes to York County veterans, their families and middle and high school students. VFW members and VFW Auxilary members will be at Pop’s Drive-In and Walmart and Ace Hardware with the poppies on May 27 and May 28.
