Yorktoberfest will wrap up the autumn festival season this Sunday with drinks, music, games, food, arts and vendors.
For the second year, the event takes place along the York River at Riverwalk Landing. There are two sessions, 10:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
There will be more than 30 beers and ciders to sample, according to Jennifer Pattison, marketing chair.
The morning music session will be provided by a D.J. while the afternoon music will be a performance by CK music.
Food service will be presented by Water Street Grille. The menu includes raw oysters, lobster salad slider, beef tenderloin sliders, shrimp cocktail, crab dip and Old Bay chips, pretzel bites, fruit and cheese platter.
Food will be served 11 a.m. – 1p.m. for the morning session and 3 p.m.- 5 p.m. for the afternoon session.
In addition to beer and cider, food trucks Get Cheesy, DD214 Smokehouse, Boyd’s Tasty Dogs, and Pop’s Kettle Corn will be on hand. Waterside Grille will have a stand selling jumbo soft pretzels and lobster pot pie.
To work off the beer, cider and food, take a shot at the blow-up basketball hoop or throw an axe. There will also be corn hole spots set up.
An $80 VIP ticket gets you entry to the event, souvenir tasting glass, unlimited beer tastings, a swag bag and two tickets for a full glass of beer. VIP tickets can only be purchased in advance. The $25 early bird ticket, or $35 at the door, allows for entry to the event, souvenir tasting glass and unlimited beer and cider tastings.
